Subway tile first appeared in New York City in 1904 to make urban travel more pleasant. Designers were tasked with finding bright surfaces that were easy to clean. Tiles laid with one-half offsets created a sense of movement. More than 115 years later, subway tile’s popularity continues.

Satin
High gloss produces maximum reflective appearance. Experience the true vibrancy of color with this finish.
Satin finish offers the slightest sheen. Not completely matte, as the finish reflects some light, but is not an overly reflective surface.
