At Marlite, we strive to create a healthier future for people, the economy, the climate and our communities through environmentally friendly materials, efficient processes, and responsible practices.
The health and safety of our employees, customers, and community are our top priorities. To ensure healthier indoor air quality, we create sustainable wall coverings like Symmetrix™ SmartSeam FRP, Artizan™ Max FRP, and more, using substances that meet GreenScreen 3 and Greenguard Gold certifications. Additionally, we continue to take workplace safety to higher levels by updating Marlite facilities with sustainable building materials and modern technologies.
We contribute to an increasingly healthy ecosystem by reducing our waste and environmental impact. Our efforts include recycling solvents, water-based paints, reusing resources, and manufacturing PVC-free FRP panels for environmentally friendly interiors. Furthermore, we adhere to ISO 9000 and are working towards ISO 14001 standards, reinforcing our dedication to environmental and quality management.
Protecting the planet is a priority. In manufacturing our portfolio of sustainable interior design materials, we take meaningful steps to minimize our impact on the environment. In our Hazardous Air Pollutants (HAP)-free facilities, we control volatile organic compounds (VOC) emissions with an air filtration system. LED lighting and UV-cured panels, reduce our energy consumption. We actively monitor and reduce energy usage, water consumption, and solvent waste. To further this commitment beyond our doors, we partner with SmartWay-certified truck carriers and optimize transportation routes to reduce fuel consumption.
Sustainability is about the people as much as it is about the planet. That’s why we actively help fund breast cancer awareness and research initiatives, partner with Tuscarawas County Council for Church and Community (T4C), invest in local schools, and offer American-made products. Through these efforts, we strive to create a positive change in our community.
