Fiberglass-reinforced Panels (FRP)

As one of the most specified brands of FRP in the world, Marlite and FRP have become synonymous. You’ll find FRP in our Artizan™ Digitally Printed FRP, Symmetrix™ SmartSeam FRP, standard FRP, and Induro™ HPL-faced FRP.

Stacks of raw HDF boards

High-density Fiberboard (HDF)

Also known as hardboard, HDF is an engineered wood product. We use HDF–a level up from medium-density fiberboard (MDF) in both strength and density–in our Digitally Printed Plank™.

Laminate

High-pressure Laminate (HPL)

Described as one of the most durable decorative surface materials by the Composite Panel Association, HPL evolved from original plastic laminate. Marlite’s Sieva™ Large Panel Wall System is comprised of HPL thermally bonded to an MDF core for the sophisticated look of architectural woodwork.

Raw wood stacked

Medium-density Fiberboard (MDF)

Like HDF, MDF is an engineered wood product. Known for its smooth surface without knots, woodgrain, or warping, MDF is the strongest option available for Marlite’s Slatwall for retail displays.

Particle Board

Particleboard, also known as chipboard or low-density fiberboard, is a cost-efficient type of manufactured wood. It’s an economical option for our Slatwall panels.

Thermoplastic

Thermoplastic resin, as the name suggests, softens when heated, making it easy to mold, remold, and recycle. Recognized strength and flexibility, thermoplastic sheets are the heart of our Volta™ Dimensional Flex Sheets.
